Ahmed Mohamed, a fourteen year old student was arrested this Monday for bringing to school a clock that he built in hope of impressing his teachers. Unfortunately, teacher mistook Ahmed's clock as an explosive. Ahmed was arrested by Irving's police department and charged with potentially building a hoax bomb. Photos of Ahmed handcuffed and arrested quickly went viral on Wednesday morning. #IStandWithAhmed emerged and became the most talked about topic on both Facebook and Twitter.
